Our campsites are designed to accommodate various camping experiences. Whether you are bringing a tent, an RV, or choose to stay in our on-site RV, cabin, or glamping tent, we have the perfect spot waiting for you. Each spot is equipped with a fire pit and picnic table, turning your campsite into a cozy outdoor living space.
Camping with us means waking up to beautiful mountain views, enjoying your morning coffee by a sandy-bottomed river, and spending your days in our heated pool (with an exhilarating tube slide!) or exploring nearby ATV and horse trails. During the evening, open fields become the perfect stargazing spot, wrapping up your day under the celestial canopy. Bring your pups along (max 2 per site) and give them a unique experience in the great outdoors.

Our campground is open from mid-May through late October, with limited site availability between January 1st and March 31st.

Riverfront Tent Sites
Tucked in the shady trees, overlooking the natural sandy banks of the Ellis River, our primitive tent sites offer a truly wild camping experience. Enjoy the tranquil sounds of the river as you drift off to sleep. Each tent site is equipped with a fire pit and picnic table, and many sites also have grills.
Mountain View Sites for RVs and Tents
Our mountain view sites provide a stunning view of the Western Maine Mountains, perfect for those seeking a scenic camping experience in their RV or tent. These sites are equipped with a fire pit and picnic table so guests can enjoy meals with a view. Mountain view sites are located in specific areas throughout the campground, and include full hookups (water, 50 amp electricity, and sewage) or water and electricity (no sewage).
Wooded Sites for RVs and Tents
Our spacious, wooded sites are scattered throughout Lone Mountain Riverfront Campground. Whether you're camping in an RV or pitching a tent, you'll find ample room to stretch out and relax. Each campsite comes with its own picnic table and fire pit, perfect for enjoying meals under the stars or roasting marshmallows by the fire.

Cabin, Glamping Tent & RV Rentals
Tentrr Base Camp (Our Glamping Tent)
Nestled in a tranquil corner of the campground, overlooking a spacious field with an open view of the starry sky, our fully-outfitted canvas tent offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Inside, you'll find a full bunk bed, providing a cozy retreat after a day full of outdoor adventures. A convenient chair adds a touch of homely comfort, perfect for curling up with a good book or simply soaking in the serene surroundings. This unique setup bridges the gap between the raw, elemental nature outside and the comfort and convenience typically found in your own home. It's ideal for those seeking an immersive and rustic outdoor experience. Our canvas tent does not come equipped with an inbuilt bathroom, however, we have ensured that your needs are catered to with a clean and well-maintained portable toilet, situated nearby for easy access. This port-a-potty is serviced regularly to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for all our guests.

Are you ready for a unique camping experience with the added benefit of modern comforts? Our on-site Cedar Creek 5th Wheel RV can comfortably house up to 4 adults, or alternatively, 2 adults and 4 kids. Our spacious, fully-equipped RV has one of the best views in the campground and offers a seamless blend of convenience and style, ensuring an unforgettable getaway amidst nature's grandeur. The RV features a generously sized bedroom and 1.5 baths, providing ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation after a thrilling day of outdoor adventures. Everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay is at your fingertips, from the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy living area. Bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies are provided. All you need to bring is your spirit of adventure!
Smores Primitive Cabin
Our rustic S'mores Cabin offers a charming retreat for campers looking to immerse themselves in nature without giving up the comfort of a cozy bed. This quaint cabin comes fits up to 4 adults and is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bunk bed, a desk, counter space, and electrical outlets, perfect for resting up after a day filled with adventure. Although the cabin does not have an inbuilt bathroom, a quick one-minute walk takes you to our sparkling clean bathhouse. The S'mores Cabin's simplicity, coupled with its close proximity to natural beauty, stunning mountain view, and essential amenities, makes it an excellent choice for campers seeking a rustic and comfortable outdoor experience.
